How it works
GridironOK is a live Oklahoma high school football companion covering all 342 OSSAA programs, from 6A powerhouses down to Class B and C eight-man teams. It's designed to be used one-handed, in the stands, on a phone, on a Friday night.
Scores
The ticker across the top of the home screen carries every game in progress or just final, and it updates itself. Below it, the featured matchup of the night shows mascots, team colors, score, quarter and clock.
Tap any game for the full picture: quarter-by-quarter line score, a searchable play-by-play timeline you can filter by quarter, team records, venue, a livestream button when a broadcast link exists, and a share button that builds a custom scoreboard image for texts and social posts.
Scores arrive three ways and the app blends them — automated scraping of public sources, a mobile quick-score form, and an SMS shortcut for reporters at the stadium. Conflict handling runs behind the scenes, so if two updates land a millisecond apart, a stale one can never roll a score or quarter backwards.
Standings
Standings update the instant a game goes Final. Records, district records, and points for/against recalculate themselves and the table redraws without a refresh.
Team pages carry the roster, the schedule with results, coach, city, classification and district. The interactive playoff bracket fills in as postseason games finish.
Recruiting
Every program's roster is browsable free: name, number, position, height, weight, grad year, star rating and commitment.
The Recruiting Radar — the ranked, filterable view with 40 times, GPA, offer lists and Hudl film — is part of the Season Pass.
Notifications
Follow any teams you care about, then choose what pings you: score changes, quarter changes, final results, or upcoming playoff games.
Alerts show as subtle in-app toasts while you're browsing and as real push notifications on your phone when you're not. It's all managed from one notification settings page, and email preferences live there too.
Premium
The free app gives you scores, standings, schedules, rosters, news, playoff brackets and alerts. The Gridiron Season Pass unlocks advanced live game stats and the full Recruiting Radar.
Checkout is a card payment handled inline. Entitlements unlock immediately on payment, and welcome, payment-issue, cancellation and refund emails are sent automatically.
Field Reporter Portal
Approved local reporters get a portal to post live scores, quarters and clock from the sideline. Anyone can apply through the signup page; an admin reviews and approves.
Reporter submissions land in a review queue with a full audit trail before they go public, so a bad entry never hits the live scoreboard unchecked.
