How the OSSAA rankings work

The OSSAA does not publish a public weekly power poll for football, so every team here is ranked inside its own OSSAA classification — 6A-I through Class C and 8-man — using only verified final scores. Win rate is the primary sort; average scoring margin, capped so blowouts can't run away with a rating, breaks ties. Rankings refresh automatically as Friday-night finals land, so the Oklahoma high school football rankings you see here match the scoreboard rather than a preseason opinion.
